We hope you all had a relaxing summer and that you are ready to have a productive school year. We are so excited to be working with you all as we begin the journey of college applications, and will be there with you every step of the way to ensure you are well equipped in making your ideal college match. On the UASCH website you’ll have access to many resources, such as your senior year timeline, a calendar of College Representative visits, application deadlines, events, and much more.

FAFSA OPENS

The FAFSA officially opens on October 1st and closes December 31st.  Please contact Mrs. Thomany to schedule an  appointment to begin this application. This  application determines your financial aid from the  government and most colleges, therefore, it  requires a bit of personal and financial information  from both you and your parents. To complete the  FAFSA, you will need:

  • Your Social Security Number

  • Your Alien Registration Number (if you are not a U.S.  citizen)

  • Your federal income tax returns, W-2s, and other  records of money earned. (Note: You may be able to  transfer your federal tax return information into your  FAFSA using the IRS Data Retrieval Tool.)

  • Bank statements and records of investments (if  applicable)

  • Records of untaxed income (if applicable)

  • An FSA ID to sign electronically

SAT DAY

SAT Day will be held on Wednesday October 7th. This test will be FREE of charge and held AT UASCH.  We highly recommend that you take this test if you  have not done so already, or if you were not happy  with your original score. Remember, you only need to send colleges your best score!
