IMPORTANT FINAL STEPS BEFORE SCHOOL STARTS

Welcome to the UASCH Family! Our orientation took place in May. Below are key reminders to help you prepare for the school year:
 
  • Intake Paperwork: Please complete all forms, especially the emergency contact card, in your NYC Schools Account (NYCSA) before September 4.

  • Student ID: Your child will need to take a photo for their school ID.

  • Dress Code: While we do not require uniforms, students will receive color-coded scrubs to wear on designated days.

  • School Hours: The day runs from 8:20 AM to 2:40 PM. For the first two weeks, please arrive by 7:45 AM due to scanning procedures. Afterward, arrival by 8:00 AM is sufficient.

  • Supplies: Students should bring spiral notebooks, pens, and pencils.

  • Electronic Devices: Internet-connected devices (e.g., laptops, tablets, smartwatches, cellphones) are not permitted. These will be collected each morning and returned at dismissal. We recommend leaving them at home for safety.
